Poor little Ouzo. At least his hidey-hole looks comfy and secure. In keeping with your theme, he might like a "thunder shirt" to wear during storms. It's an actual product. I hear that scaredy-dogs find them comforting.

Reading this prompted me to look up the actual lyrics of this song and would you believe that the beginning of the song (the part with actual non-thunder lyrics) is about a boy (our singer) who is not a “follower” despite being told to “fit the box, fit the mold”? Which, in this song, of all songs…

You are SO funny. I love the length of your posts and appreciate the tone, which IMO, hails from The Best Era of the Internet™. Why don't more people still write in good fun diatribes anymore? Anyway, glad you do. And kudos on being able to make an outdated song relevant to 2025 and poor Ouzo.

BTW when I googled the song to find out what year it debuted (2017), this came up:

This song describes a boy's journey into being a pop star. As a young boy, the poet had all the qualities of a typical teenager. He had a quick temper, was uptight, wanted to be free, and dreamt of 'bigger' things.

Are we really wondering this stuff???????????????????

Clicked on this article expecting ‘Thundar the Barbarian’ lol

Can sympathize with the maddening Thunder refrain; it’s a bumper track at my kids softball games - glad it worked for Ouzo 🙌

I feel bad for Ouzo. My departed pittie was also a mess during storms. The best we could do was take her down to the basement, rub her down to get any lingering static off her, and try and sooth her with white noise.
